Mama, I made it! The New York Times recently featured the men of Skadden in a piece called “Statement Suits at a White-Shoe Law Firm”. I feel beyond blessed to have been pictured on the front page of the Men’s Style Section. From what I understand, the NYT somehow heard of this ol' blog over here and reached out to Skadden's PR department to make this happen. Huge thanks to John Ortved and the New York Times for such an awesome opportunity. Here are some more pics from the piece.
The NYT text next to the pics does a pretty good job of breaking down my look but I'll add a bit more color. Naturally, I wore my favorite tie for the piece. It's Ralph Lauren Black Label. Ever the automotive enthusiast, King Ralph loves sneaking car motifs into his work. It's a little hard to tell but the tie features a mini steering wheel print which I love. The only other thing I wanted to add is always iron your pants. I clearly didn't. That was a mistake :(.
I thought my fellow Skadden gents looked awesome so big shout out to them too. When I get a little bit more time I'll come back and do a breakdown of some of their looks as well.
