So here we have an oxblood hoodie layered under a wondrous leather stadium jacket.

Oxblood (or wine or maroon or whatever you want to call it) is often underrated for its versatility. Instead of going for navy, brown, black or gray, get out of your comfort zone and try maroon. I promise — it’s low risk, high return. Here, it pairs nicely with a black piece for a solid lazy Saturday/Sunday look.

Also, a quick note on leather jackets. I go for low-key pieces like this John Elliott x Blackmeans one where the devil is really in the details. It’s butter soft, the hardware oozes quality and the minimal moto-inspired ribbing/detailing is subtle, yet effective. Too many bells and whistles on a leather jacket can get overwhelming.

This second look is just the first with the hoodie swapped out for an uber-versatile gray crewneck sweatshirt made of soft, yet durable French terry cloth.

Aaaand this third look I really love. Not just because that right there is my favorite bomber jacket in the whole wide world. It's also cuz of the sweatpants. Yes, yes, I know you can barely see them but note the interesting melange fabric.
